Our Home Base: The Yilgarn Region

The Yilgarn Region is steeped in Aboriginal history, especially resonant for the Njaki Njaki people, who have been its custodians for generations. We operate with respect and acknowledgment of the land’s rich history and its people.

Aboriginal Engagement

As an Aboriginal civil and mining contracting company with cultural ties to the land, our dedication to engaging with local Aboriginal communities extends beyond business – it’s core to our identity.

We recognise our region’s First Nations talent. Our culturally-informed hiring practices emphasise long-term employment, training, and mentorship, enabling Aboriginal people to realise their full potential and contribute significantly to our industry.

Beyond providing career opportunities, we are committed to deepening our employees’ understanding of Aboriginal culture. We conduct cultural inductions for all team members, in which we share the important history of the Njaki Njaki people.

Participating in cultural ceremonies and activities is encouraged to foster respect and genuine, deep-rooted cross-cultural relationships. Through these efforts, we aim to create an environment of mutual respect and learning, bridging gaps and building robust, more inclusive communities.
